What are the check in and check out times?

Check-in time is after 4.30pm and check-out time is before 10am. We ask that guests leave promptly so the cabin can be thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and prepared for incoming guests.


How do I pay and is there a deposit?

A non-refundable 25% deposit of the holiday cost is payable at the time of booking. Bookings made less than ten weeks before arrival date must be paid in full. The balance must be paid no later than ten weeks before the start of your stay. Preferred payment is by PayPal. Prices do not include any charges incurred (foreign exchange or transfer fees) from receiving payment.


Where are you located?

Coety Bach is located in an elevated position in the Radnoshire countryside. We are near to the village of Penybont which is just outside the town of Llandrindod Wells in the county of Powys.


Do you have TV and/or WiFi?

There is no TV or WiFi at Coety Bach. We aim to help people ‘switch off’ from the daily grind and help develop a greater sense of wellbeing. We hope to enable guests further appreciate the natural environment. If needed, a 4G signal and a good mobile phone signal is available on some networks.


What facilities does Coety Bach have?

Fully equipped kitchen with Fridge/Freezer; Gas hob cooker; Electric oven; Overhead extractor; Microwave; Kettle; Toaster; Utensils.

How long is a minimum stay?

There is a minimum stay of 2 nights per booking.


Do you accept Pets?

We accept one well behaved dog. We ask that he/she is not allowed on the bed and that he/she is kept on a lead in the vicinity of the cabin. This is due to the amount of nearby livestock. There is a £20 charge per stay for your pet.


What do I need to bring with me?

It's advisable to bring a torch along with you if you intend to venture out after dark.


Is there parking?

Yes. There is a designated parking spot for one guest vehicle on the driveway.


How do we pick up the keys?

Keys will be picked up from a pre-arranged location before arrival.


Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes. Under the present circumstances we ask guests to place any used linen, towels, tea towels and oven gloves in to a separate bag for cleaning.


Is smoking/vaping allowed at Coety Bach?

Guests are not permitted to smoke or vape in the cabin. Guests are permitted to smoke on the veranda or porch.


Is there a barbeque/firepit?

Coety Bach has a firepit and tripod where guests can cook on the grill provided. However, during particularly dry spells of weather the firepit may be closed due to safety concerns.


Is Coety Bach suitable for those with restricted mobility?

Due to our location, it is not suitable for those with restricted mobility. Coety Bach is situated on top of a steep slope. The cabin bed is raised to approximately hip height with a step to climb up and in.


What measures have you taken as a result of COVID-19?

We have done a number of things to make Coety Bach as safe as possible for guests. This includes an enhanced cleaning routine, removing some non-essential items and installing a hand sanitising pump at the entrance. Please visit our COVID-19 page for the full range of measures.

What do we need to do when we leave Coety Bach?

We ask guests to place used bed linen, towels, tea towels and oven gloves in to a separate bag for cleaning. Recycling and general waste bins to be emptied in the relevant containers outside.


What if something isn’t right or if there’s a problem?

We take every care to ensure that the cabin is in tip-top condition. If there is a problem guests can use the contact details provided on booking to let us know. There’s usually someone around on site to answer any queries.
